ADMISSION PROCESS

Atlantic Business School
Online Application

To apply for acceptance into an Atlantic Business School program, prospective students must complete an online application form, which also includes the online submission of required documents such as: transcripts, diplomas, proof of English language proficiency, identification cards, and resumes, etc.  There is no entrance exam requirement for either program.

Admissions Process and Notification

After a prospective student’s application is complete, the Admissions Team carefully reviews each candidate’s file for potential acceptance into an ABS Program.  Minimum requirements are evaluated,
and acceptance decisions are made as quickly as possible.

Applicants are notified of the school’s acceptance decision via email, and students receive an invoice for a $150 non-refundable registration fee. Student confirms his/her the intent to enroll in and register for the upcoming semester’s courses by paying this fee. If the student does not want the accept the study place this invoice does not have to be paid. If it is paid, it will reduce the first semesters tuition fee.

Official Transcripts

Official transcripts from all colleges, universities, and post-secondary institutions previously attended are required.  Such official transcripts must be sent directly from the credit-granting institution to ABS in a sealed envelope.

Applicants with Non-US Degrees and Credentials

Transcripts submitted in languages other than English must be accompanied by a certified translation.

Transcripts for comparable school level courses completed in a country other than the United States must be evaluated by an outside credential evaluation company after the student has received a positive admission decision and before the start of the studies. ABS accepts foreign credential evaluations from any current member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) with a course-by-course evaluation and grade point average (GPA) included.  Visit the NACES website (http://www.naces.org) for a list of current members.

Atlantic Business School is a virtual school with no resident or physical classroom attendance requirements, and thus does not qualify for student visas.

Transfer Credit Evaluation

Unofficial transcripts may initially be submitted for transfer credit review and consideration during the applicant process (to expedite the review process), but if approved students will ultimately need to have official transcripts sent directly to ABS by the degree-granting institution before the end of the first semester.
